Improving Communication Skills in Cancer

An interactive and highly practical workshop held during the Reach to Recovery International Conference and designed to explore the key principles supporting effective communication. Advocates and oncology professionals often face a variety of different and challenging communication situations all requiring great care and skill. From preparing a message, to choosing appropriate language and considering tonal and nonverbal communication, there are many factors that need to be considered to ensure the communication experience is a positive and productive one.

Within the frame of its goal to improve quality of life of women and men living with advanced breast Cancer worldwide, the ABC Global Alliance have organized this event at the EU Parliament to increase awareness about working rights for Cancer patients, an important issue which effects not only breast cancer patients but all cancer patients worldwide and committed to find possible solutions.
