People with cancer, cancer survivors, and those with compromised immune systems and other chronic medical conditions may be at a higher risk for the more severe form of COVID-19. We want to share with you some resources to inform patients and support oncology professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To address the critical unmet need in access to care for hard-to-reach populations with advanced/metastatic breast cancer (ABC/MBC), the ABC Global Alliance and Pfizer have collaborated to develop a toolkit of relevant, community-based initiatives and best practice summary documents that aims to drive collaboration across the global ABC/MBC community.

This Initiative strives to reduce breast cancer mortality by 2.5% per year, which over a 20-year period can save 2.5 million lives. The purpose of this core technical package is to outline a pathway for incremental, sustainable improvements tailored to country-specific needs based on three key strategies and objectives: health promotion for early detection; timely diagnosis; and comprehensive breast cancer management.
